Mariah Bhatti is a seasoned trial attorney with a legal career grounded in high-stakes litigation. Mariah represented Fortune 500 companies and other major clients in complex commercial liability matters. Her practice spans a wide range of industries including transportation, rideshare, construction, products liability, premises liability, insurance, and general liability.
Mariah is known for her strategic, results-driven approach to litigation. She has successfully litigated multimillion-dollar exposure cases. Her hands-on leadership style and meticulous attention to detail have earned her the trust of clients facing significant liability risk.
Before joining J.D. Silva & Associates, PLLC, Mariah was a Partner at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, one of the largest defense firms in the nation, where she oversaw a team of associate attorneys. Before that, she served as lead litigation counsel at both Cristobal M. Galindo, P.C. and Daspit Law Firm. In these roles, she handled large dockets of personal injury and first-party insurance cases, managing matters through trial or settlement, including securing a $2.75 million pre-litigation settlement in a commercial trucking accident. She began her career as a legal consultant for an international construction equipment company and as a law clerk handling corporate and IP due diligence matters.
Mariah earned her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law Houston, where she was active in trial advocacy, judicial internships, and international study programs. She graduated cum laude from Purdue University and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with minors in Political Science and English.
